Are you coming from "away".... If so when you get to Seafest let us know because on Saturday night after the Fireworks our hardy crew will be doing a "Screech In" for those of you brave enough to kiss a cod and down a shot of good ole' Newfie Screech... and lets not forget you have to be able to talk like us and repeat after me.... "long may your big jib draw" and a bunch of other stuff :-) So if you have a friend or family member that is "coming from away" meaning your not a true Newfie join us in making them honorary Newfie's at our 3rd annual Screech In on Saturday August 3rd in the Beer Garden after the Fireworks! (Must be 19 years of age to participate).  

For the past couple of years, Eastport Peninsula Seafest Committee has graciously contributed to local worthwhile causes. Committee members have donated time and dollars to to: Peninsula Memorial Park and Playground, 1st Bi-Annual Eastport and Area Relay For Life & the Jim & Winnie Warren Fundraising Weekend.
As many residents may or may not know, a committee has been formed on the peninsula called "Eastport Peninsula Benefit Fundraising Committee". They will be working with other groups and individuals to raise funds that will in turn be available upon request to families who are experiencing financial difficulties due to medical/illness.
 The Eastport Peninsula Seafest Committee will be placing a Fire Hydrant in front of the stage on Sunday from open to close. We are asking patrons if you can make a contribution to please do so and when we tally the dollars our committee will match 10% (minimum) of the pot and donate to the Benefit Fund to help others, just our lil' way of giving back for all the support we recieve from the public!

Starting at 1pm till we close er' down around 6ish join us as our very own local and surrounding performers take to the stage for some foot stompin' performances... If you are a performer and would like to showcase your talent at our Annual Seafest please contact Sandy Pike or Roy Saunders!

This year

Friday and Saturday we will have DJ music provided by Steve Genge from opening till 10pm...
When the DJ stops the LIVE entertainment begins! On Friday and Saturday we are pleased to provide you with live music by returning artist YOUNG AT HEART, the good ole' boys from Grand Falls-Winsor... They were a crowd pleaser last year, so much so that we had many requests to have them back again :-)
This year, we are excited to have our New Portable DANCE FLOOR in place for those who want to have  a scuff, so put your dancin' shoes on and join us for an awesome time!!!

Don't forget to get your 50/50 tickets on sale throughout the Seafest and to be drawn on Sunday just before we shut er' down for another year!!!! Tickets are just $1.00 each with a grand prize of up to $2000.00!!!! What an awesome way to end your Seafest experience, by win

Admission Bracelets must be purchased daily and worn at all times. There will be a reduced admission price from 12 noon till 5pm. If anyone purchases a bracelet during this time, it is still valid for admission in the evening.
